Chez (Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara, Ngāti Tūwharetoa) is an Environmental Science student at the University of Auckland with a strong background in environmental education, ecological restoration, and driving place-based initiatives and events. Committed to connecting people to place and each other, he works collaboratively to find solutions that empower communities to protect and restore taonga across the catchment. At home, Chez can be found weeding his overgrown vegetable garden and sharing kōrero with his partner Jess and their son Mihaka.
