Āwhina Day
As part of our long-term restoration project at Tawa Esplanade Reserve, we're taking on more of the maintenance work, and we'd love your help. We do some cutting, pasting, pulling and bagging of weedy species and spread around a bit of mulch too. These maintenance events are short and sweet, a couple of hours on a Sunday in good company to get the reserve to keep the weeds suppressed. We have tools and gloves and provide refreshments too.
