Muriwai (Whakatohea, Ngāpuhi, Tuhoe) was born and raised in the beautiful Te Atatū Peninsula and has a strong passion to protect it for future generations to enjoy. They have a Bachelors of Biodiversity Management and Animal Welfare Management from Unitec and use it to educate and connect people with te taiao. In their spare time you'll find them stargazing, bug hunting, hiking, or spending time with whanau.
