Maintenance Mornings
As part of our long-term restoration project at Tawa Esplanade Reserve we're taking on more of the maintenance work and we'd love your help. We do some cutting, pasting, pulling and bagging of weedy species and spread around a bit of mulch too. These maintenance events are short and sweet, a couple of hours on a Sunday in good company to get the reserve ready for planting in August 2024. We have tools and gloves and provide refreshments too.
The Big Community Planting Day
Come along and help us restore the beautiful Tawa Esplanade Reserve with indigenous planting. These family-friendly days are a great way to connect with your local taiao/environment and to give a little back. Details below.
