Firstly l want to thank you for contacting me and outlining the excellent work the Rivercare Group Te Wai o Pareira are doing to protect the Henderson creek, an iconic waterway in our local area. I am a committed conservationist and fully support actions taken that protect the biodiversity and natural landscapes of west Auckland, including our local waterways.

 

Your request to Watercare and Healthy Waters to prioritise work that reduces raw sewage overflows into Henderson Creek and its tributaries is a request that l strongly endorse. 

 

I am very happy to also endorse your charter.
